View Service

Concrete Patios

View Service

French Drains

Gravel and pipe drains for slow clay yards. We pipe the water to a legal outlet at the curb or the ditch.

View Service

Yard Drainage

Swales, catch basins and downspout lines that move water off a flat lot instead of letting it pond by your slab.

View Service

Demolition & Debris Removal

House and slab tear-outs with permits, utility disconnects and pool fill-ins. You get back a clean, level lot.

Trees, stumps and brush cleared from home lots and acreage, then hauled away so the lot is ready to build on.

View Service

Forestry Mulching

Brush and small trees ground in place on acreage, fence lines and trails. No burn piles to deal with.

View Service

Fill Dirt & Dirt Work

Select fill, bank sand and sandy loam delivered, spread and compacted for pads, pool fill-ins and low spots.

What home projects do you take on in Houston?

We do concrete, steel and site work for homeowners, all with our own crews.

Every service on this page has its own page with more detail.

Why does Houston clay matter for my foundation and driveway?

Most of Houston sits on expansive clay. It swells when it gets wet and shrinks when it dries out, and that movement reaches 8 to 20 feet down. Houston gets about 52 inches of rain a year, so the ground is always changing. That is why we design slabs to the soil report, put rebar in driveways and grade your yard so water runs away from the house.

Do you pull permits for home projects?

Yes. Inside city limits the permit comes from the City of Houston. In unincorporated areas it comes from Harris County or the county your home is in. Harris County limits fill in the 100-year floodplain, so homes there often sit on pier and beam foundations. Driveway culverts are permitted with the county too. We pull the permits and book the inspections.

Can one crew build my shop or barndominium from dirt to frame?

Yes. We clear the lot, build the building pad, pour the slab and put up the steel frame. That means one contract and one person to call. It also means the anchor bolts in the slab line up with the steel, because the same company handles both. See barndominiums and shops and garages.

Are you licensed and insured for residential work in Texas?

Texas does not license general, concrete or steel contractors, so no Houston contractor can give you a state license number for this work. Here is what we carry: $2M general liability, workers compensation on every crew member, and permits pulled in our own name. We send a certificate of insurance with every proposal.

What warranty comes with the work?

Structural work carries a 10-year warranty. Workmanship carries 1 year. Both are written into the contract before work starts, along with the scope and the price. If something moves or cracks beyond normal shrinkage, call (832) 576-3278 and we will come look at it.
